Common installation issues

If you see a warning that the source of the APK is unknown, this is a standard Android security prompt. Tap "Install anyway" to proceed. If your device asks you to enable "Unknown sources," go to Settings > Security and toggle the permission on, then retry the installation. Some network providers or corporate WiFi networks block APK downloads; if the download stalls, try switching to mobile data. If you have installed an old version of the lintoto app, uninstall it completely before downloading the new one, otherwise permission conflicts may occur. On iOS, there is no separate app installation—instead, you save the lintoto web link to your home screen, which creates an icon that behaves like an app but runs inside Safari with full app-like functionality.

Data, permissions, and account security

Our lintoto app requests permission to send notifications, store files on your device, and access your mobile phone number for two-factor authentication during large withdrawals. We do not request permission to access your contacts, calendar, camera, or location. All communication between the lintoto app and our servers uses TLS 1.3 encryption, the same standard used by banks. Your password is hashed and never stored in plain text on your device. If you lose your phone or factory-reset it, your lintoto account remains active and you can log in on any new device using your email and password. We do not store payment method details on your device; instead, your payment provider (mobile banking, local payment, online payment, etc.) handles the encrypted token, and we only receive confirmation that the transaction succeeded.
